This belongs to a series about places: some I’ve been to, some I only wanted to reach. Morocco is one of them. I worked with flat colour laid down in large blocks — yellow, red, a green that keeps shifting — and let one stripe come down through the middle and drip where it stopped. No drawing first. The colours came before the place did.
