What data is collected and why
Contact form. When you write through the contact form, the name, email address and message you submit are sent by email and stored in the website database. They are used only to answer your enquiry and to keep a record of the conversation. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and legitimate interest in replying to enquiries. This data is kept for up to 24 months from the last exchange, then deleted.
Server logs. The hosting provider records standard technical data for every visit, including IP address, browser type and pages requested. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating and troubleshooting the site. These logs are kept for a short period by the provider and are not used to identify visitors.
Security logs. The site uses a security plugin that records the IP address of failed login attempts in order to block automated attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting the site. These records are kept for a limited period and then discarded.
Cookies
This site uses technical cookies only: they keep the site working and are exempt from consent requirements. There is no analytics, no advertising and no profiling of any kind. Videos are embedded from Vimeo with tracking disabled, so the player does not set tracking cookies.
Who else sees this data
- Hostinger — hosting provider, servers located in Frankfurt, Germany. Acts as data processor.
- Vimeo — video hosting, based in the United States. Applies only if you play an embedded video. Transfers outside the EU are covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
No data is sold, rented or shared for marketing purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to the address above; you will get an answer within one month.
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully you can lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority in your country of residence.
